Rebooting with Third Places

People gathering at a sunlit cafe terrace, connected by faint golden threads of light

It's been a year since I've posted outside of LinkedIn, and as Third Places heats up I'll use this website for both interesting work related cross-posts and more general longevity and life posts. I'll also ratchet up my use of Twitter/X as I've neglected my @mikeprince account for far tool long!

Soooo... what have I been up to for the last 12 months?

  • Agentic protocol work with Universal Auth
  • Refining Matchwise by removing all the agents and turning matchwise into a pure DID document management system for personal agents
  • Continuing the run Decelerators at Rancho San Gregorio
  • Participating in too many events to remember them all...
    • Conversational AI at Venture Dock
    • Gemini Meetups at Google
    • Intelligent Machine Guild events at Rancho San Gregorio
    • Internet Identity Workshop and Agent Identity Workshop at the Computer History Museum
    • The AI Summit at Plug-N-Play
    • Tech Equity events at SVAI/Snowflake

And now, my big update: Doubling down on Third Places

In a nutshell, I want to help everyone live longer, live healthier, live happier, and prosper.

Science tells us the people we surround ourselves with have an enourmous impact on those goals. Which begs the question "How do I select and nourish those people?"

We are living in an amazing time, where each of us will have an army of AI agents to chew through data and make heads and tails of it. Point that army at your personal data - CVs, personal blogs, ambient conversation data - and a really good understanding of You can emerge. Then use that same army to look around at other people and use that to choose where to go to meet people, and who to walk up to.

That is Third Places!

Please join our First 100 to get a front-row seat as the service evolves. It's nascent, but with my AI coding army it will move forward quickly!
